how did they come up with this driver being 8.10 when the filename clearly states catalyst_beta_8.8_(8.54-080805n) and also does the link to rage3d?

lol Indeed something is not looking right. Anyway, still downloading to see if there's any real difference for HD4000.
(Then maybe I'll split them out and upload them separately for those with limited bandwidth. )

    P.S.: Compare that to 8.7:

Holy sh... *beep for two minutes here*
...the size is due to the included apps. (takes up almost 400MB) Namely... a whole bunch. Seems like I can't cut this *beep for another two minutes here* into pieces without leaving out something...

Has anyone ran any tests yet? I've had plenty of issues with upgrading drivers and wish to avoid having to reinstall my system (I will have to do that if I have to go back) so I would appreciate if anyone could tell me if these drivers are any good.

No noticeable improvement from 8.7 from what I'm seeing. Probably lower power draw, but that's it.

Note: 8.8 is 8.52. These drivers are 8.54. So either 8.8 was in fact a tweaked version of 8.7, or this is in fact 8.10.
