    got to resist cos i want to go with a couple of 4870's but its not easy....

    this is a great block. Heavy impacted all copper block with great internals. choice of both 1/2 and 3/8" with worm clamps included... Guess your just stubborn or ignorant..

    its obvious evga moved away from the innovatek style and i praise them for it.. the price however needs to be lowered..
    remember more competition only benefits the consumer..

    So does is this block classified as a single slot block or is it still double? Pondering Tri-SLI, but really want to use my Xi-Fi card.

    I think the block is low enough to be a single slot solution.
    Stupid thing is that EVGA still has the double bracket mounted
    So you could swap that with a low profile bracket.
    On the other hand the block might be to thick for single slot so taht's the reason EVGA left the dual bracket mounted.
    BFG has watercooled edition that's definatly single slot.
