    How about getting someone who knows how to form a complete sentence write the letter? If I get an email/letter that is full of errors I don't take the person seriously. Poorly written material doesn't mean someone is stupid or dumb but they can sure come off that way very quickly. So before this guy posts or mails in his letter have someone proof read the guy's work.

    Trying to help I spoke to a rep at FM tonight, i mentioned the least they could do is add the function to save an individuals bench off line and submit it on another machine, like 3d06

    I made the rep aware there is a growing movement against the new rules, he said he would look into it.

    No promises here...i did try
    Got a problem with your OCZ product....?

    Good thing they're at least listening to the community . Thanks for the effort, Tony.

    There is nothing stopping us from reading the results directly out of memory. Somebody with more time than I should do that, if there isn't anything in the EULA against it.

    News about the petition on German Onlinemags:

    Orthy

    I like their topic:

    1 Liter LN2: 2,50€ - CPU Pot: 100€ - 3DMark: 300€ - Profitmaximierung: Unbezahlbar (profit maximation: priceless)

    Tom's Hardware

    @Tony: thanx for your support...

    Second version of the petition:

    Dear Futuremark-Team,

    as a start we hope to attract your full attention to the following lines. We think it's not too excessive to affirm that many enthusiasts, gamers and ordinary pc users were all on edge for the latest 3DMark. But many people have the opinion that the pricing of the 3DMark Vantage doesn't fit. The "Advanced Version" doesn't hold what the fans expected of this version. It's impossible to see the result without using an internet connection and the feature to save an validation file isn't existing too. This is the cause that the "Advanced Version" isn't enough for a large part of the potential customers. An acceptable version is "Vantage Pro" but the price of 495 bucks is unbelievable for a benchmark tool. Naturally we know that Vantage wasn't a low budget project and it has to leave a profit. But we think that the smallest part would pay almost 500 bucks to get a fully working benchmark tool that includes all features they expect. The next point is that a respectable number of customers have huge problems so run Vantage. Freezes and poorly compatibility snatches all fun with that benchmark tool. It seems that Vantage isn't completely finished at all.
    This are the points why some users from one of the biggest overclocking communitys in Europe - AwardFabrik - startet a petition to demand from you to do something for a better pricing and functionality of 3DMark Vantage. In this context on AwardFabrik and a lot of other german und international communitys started lists to collect signatures to this petition. In this way almost 300 user gave their signature in three days. The result of this campaign you can see at the attachment of these lines.
    We hope that we were able to open your eyes to see that this isn't the right way to keep a community growing whose meaning will be more and more important in the future: the overclockers. Thank you for your attention and we are looking forward to your response.

    Regards
    STFU and Prophet are right now working together...
