I don't know how accurate my readings are, but with a mm my readings are.

Bios Set | Real Bios | Real OS
    2.25 | 2.23 | 2.23
    2.1 | 2.1 | 2.1

Obviously not all P5K deluxes are going to be the same, but these readings are somewhat re-assuring. For me anyway

heh RLM yea it was on a P5K3 Deluxe tho, but I thought it might reflect to the P5K Deluxe, but I could be wrong as u stated they are pretty much the same as real, hmz about P5K Deluxe killing ram? I dunno about it at least not noticed, I just hope mine ballistix would last me some time. Before upgrading to DDR3, if this rumor is true:X

I noticed that Asus have removed the 0501 and 0503 beta bios from their web site leaving only the 0403. I don't know what, if anything, this means to us. has anyone tried and tested the new 0601?

I would assume that 0601 will be final and the bios will be placed on there site tomorrow, as usual.

    Ram compatibility

My Gigabyte mobo took a dump, so I RMA'd it and ordered one of these instead.

As far as Ram compatibility, the Asus site didn't have any specs. Will my Ballistic PC8500 ram be fine?

    Thank you. Cool avatar

BTW, no SATA issues with the deluxe that the premium version has, correct? I searched through about 100 threads and didn't see any problems (the premium it seems is "hit or miss" with SATA drives).

After upgrading from BIOS 404 to 601 last night, I have run into a couple of "Bad BIOS checksum. Starting BIOS recovery". Kind of getting nervous and will revert to 503 or 404 unless someone advices me not to...

    Back to 0503.

I went from 311 to 601 and I got much better stability at high ram clocks (around 1200+)

You didn't say whether you could reboot but every time that I flashed my BIOS and got the "Bad BIOS checksum" I cleared the CMOS RAM and flashed the new BIOS again using the BIOS EZ Flash 2 Utility. I haven't decided whether I'm going to upgrade to 0601.

I did the VDDR2 in that vdimm reading point, and the reading gave me the exact value set in bios !

    Is it "normal" ?

Is there any P5K-E exclusive thread ?

The new bios 6.01 is out, download link:
    http://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...eluxe/0601.zip

The only change I've noticed is that there is different naming used for SATA modes:
AHCI is now called Enhanced ( and is enabled by default ).
Also when I was selecting AHCI in previous bios versions I've always ended up with BSOD and Vista wouldn't load, while Enhanced is working just fine.
