I wish I had waited and gotten one of these, my P5N-E SLi can't even do 425 FSB.

How big of a difference does 1:1 make on intels?

    I currently have to run a divider to reach DDR1000 on my Ballistix. How big of a difference is 500 x 6 1:1 vs 375 x 8 4:3?

Question DFI 965-S with 4 sticks

Has anyone tested this board with all four memory slots populated? I am interested in knowing if this board will run it and what type of overclock can be expected.

I'm interested in this as well. I have 4 gigs of Buffalo Firestix DDR2-800 Micron D9 to put in this board. I only have the board and the memory at the moment so I can't test yet.

I'm eager to get this board...As I see more and more results, I become more and more desperate to get rid of this NF4 joke.
    What watercooling do you have?

looks like this is the board to get, how hard was the overclocking process? Also how does the Corsair 620w modular psu work with this board? I have heard that dfi is very picky about PSU's.

Thanks mascaras for the preliminary settings.

I'm back here running orthos blend @ 3.6ghz
vcore is @ +250.0 in bios and smartguardian reads 1.56v during the orthos test.
    pretty sweet!
I gotta get this ram clock up to speed

I gotta say as far as vdroop goes during load this board is awesome! Its right on point. You could almost say it overvolts by 1v according to smart guardian. this is on the latest beta bios 4-18.

i agree, at lower volts say less then about 1.4-1.45 theres none that i noticed, and once you get to higher like 1.6 or so it sometimes will give me like .02 droop full load

yep even with high voltage the vdroop its almost the same .

    Btw:

trans am i read it now that you say +250.0mv = 1.55v???

    in my dfi +200.0mv = 1.40v >>> 1.39v Idle >> 1.37v Full

    +250.0mv = 1.45v
    +300.0mv = 1.50v

    and so on
