new ASUS P5B DLX WiFI Bios(1004) wacked my board, need assistance!

After a flash if you don't fully post, try only one stick of ram until you rasie your Vdim and re set and post cleanly and then replace the ram. Also bios 1004 and probably 910 need a extra notch of vcore to hit the same actual that earlier bioses did. Once I did all these things, 1004 is as stable if not more so, than anything that came before. main thing is more vcore. After that you can overclock quite nicely.

you think it has anything to do with vdroop? maby different bios versions effect decrease/increase of vdroop?

but it's already been said by first few people that it wasn't performing any better.....to me that sounds like a no no unless a bunch of other people come out and contradict that

to be honest the only thing worth a bios upgrade is a fix for poor RAM MHz clocking on 4:5 ratio

yea true, but a lot of ppl are in hopes of better fsb

If we want change the 1004 bios for another, we have to wait for new one.

Yup, this is how I roll, I'm still chill with the 0711 bios. No probs for me, except a ty e6600

Downgrade is easy: download TNT-enFoRcEr.v.1.0. Upgrade from Asus Update programm bios(old bios) as usual. After restart you will see black screen, push reset, computer will star to search bios from file so you need to use some flash memory stick with old bios-file. And its all, folks.

get to a:\ prompt insert next floppy with afudos.exe

insert next floppy with 0804.rom on it .. and then what do I type in to get it to load the bios from the floppy?

Plase i don't have diskete. anyone know how i can back. i've tried to bakc with a disc USB but the flash program told me taht de bios which i go to put is older than i have intalled...

Yes i could came back to my old bios 0908, but now i've another problem, this bios don't remeber the configuration that i've made.
For example, i've finished to downgrade my bios and i reset my PC. it started normally, i go into the bios and i start to set my configuration. I put F10 and i save the setup.
Again the system start but i realise that the bios was ansetup :s please help me!!!!
I have the system all automatic

U're a life saver!

I downgraded with your method but i didn't got any blank screen on restart. Everything went normal.

BTW with this lousy 1004 bios my m/b didn't want to get 16X on pci-e, when oc'ed, by any means. Glad i get rid of it...

So i downgrade to 0904 using a diskete, i flash the bios and load 0904 but when now i try to setup the bios it doesen't keep the config. Like the BIOS don't remeber the setup whitch i do!
Anyone know what i could do?
