@ Waus: I like to clean my stix of ram by rubbing them on the carpetactually, it's just from the paper towel I was using to clean the IC's off :P
ah, odd. really old school micron if it's the revA chips
edit: brainfart. sorry. of course it's revA if it's fatties.
my 2x1gb pc6400 ballistix set:
looks like D9GMH to me
well, i think the -25F rating is given by crucial, but technically there should be -2E chips, the ddr2-1000 @ cas5 binned chipsOriginally Posted by Sentential

Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them
the same as on my sticks ... but i think they are realy good![]()

Great list man!
Has anyone found out what chips are used on these?OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Enhanced Latency XTC 2.1V 800@4-5-4-15 chips???
You just need a better cpuOriginally Posted by Kabauterman
Like the rest of us, you've hit the max FSB of your Yonah, you got to have some luck with those...
I'm still testing, but the previous owner got my Yonah up to 261FSB, so I'll see what I can get out of my FattiesI'll first have to vmod my Aopen though.

The supertalent 6400 and 8000 2x1 gb kits are still based on BT-3 ics or they moved to different ones?
The Super Talents use D9GKX / MT47H64M8B6-25E.
First post updated again..
Pls point me where i have made any mistakes to correct it..![]()
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.
I think the B6-25F are D9GMH ??? but on my Ballistix 2x1024 are D9GMH i think its the same as B6-25F ?BALLISTIX DDR2 512/1024/2X512/2X1024 - 6400 800@4-4-4-12 2.2V Micron BT-37E--->Micron B6-37E Some 2 x 1024 uses Micron B6-25F Some 2 x 512 uses Micron D9GMH HS=YELLOW
D9GMH is originally B6-3, afaik (micron's fbga decoder brokeOriginally Posted by Kabauterman

Ok. So among the latest micron ics d9gkx & d9gmh seem to be the best. The question is can they do 3,2,2 and which of those two is better? I think i saw 360 mhz out of the 6400 teamgroup kit which is based (for sure) on the d9gmhOriginally Posted by sierra_bound
Most 2X1GB kits will not run 3-2-2 at high speeds. The tightest you can expect with 2X1GB is 3-3-2 at semi-high speeds or 3-3-3 at higher speeds. If you want 3-2-2 timings, try to find used modules with Micron Fat Body chips. They are mostly 2X512 kits.
These are the overclocks of D9GMH and D9GKX I found on the web:

So no really tight timings, the tightest is 3-3-3-4. If you should find a review or something with tighter timings, let me know too please![]()
