Nice, what is its price? Is it worth spending over Gene?
Their XFast USB is also a useful feature. It really gives a considerable boost.
They've just priced this mobo way higher than competition which makes it a bad choice.
Great motherboard and review. Its one of my favourite X79 motherboards.
Here is the review guys: http://www.maximum-tech.net/asrock-z77-extreme9-motherboard-review-13180/
I'll post the most important bit of conclusion here:
Yes.
its a retail model which i managed to grab early.
Formal review is a bit late so i think i'll give my initial impressions here. Its a good motherboard but its pricey. Much better options...
So this question has been revolving in my mind for quite sometime now. What is all this DDR3 2800+ or DDR3 3000+ that we see on latest motherboards mean? Ever since Ivy Bridge release, this has...
Right, no thunderbolt.
Got it today:

The thing i find amusing about this motherboard is that ASRock managed to get so many features in regular ATX form factor.

I just got the 8 GB 2400 MHz C10 kit and it seems to have Samsung ICs according to the indications given above.
thats crazy...its the first 3000 MHz kit i think.
I agree with you a bit here. I really miss the old XS with that main page. Still havent gotten used to this new style.
Btw there is no advantage of removing the heatsink cause Gskill has messed up the marking on ICs.
Nice!!!
damn, amd is now is some real trouble. Those who bought 7950 and 7970s at launch must be crying.
3000 MHz possible? :p
Intel tells that its due to the heat density which is a result of die shrink:

Sexiest card i've seen any years. Better than any custom card. Amazing job by NVIDIA.
Newegg has 3770K for 350USD. I dont why prices are high as compared to what we were initially told.
Yeah 4.5 GHz seems to be the sweetspot for Ivy Bridge. After that things start to get nasty.
