This thing is really starting to P me off.
First, i returned the power supply to the place i bought it from, and i think they sent another one back, can't tell.
The beeps went away for about 3...
Yep, 3 690's is the only solution.
If you have a spare counterfeiting machine, you could go 4 690's. get some octasli action :ROTF:
just updated to bios F11 and 1 problem has popped up.
I have 4 HD's in the JMB controller configure as "port multiplier drives"
it was all working with the old bios, but the F11 bios now disables...
how come my heatpipe thingy doesn't help cool the chipset.

the last time i tried esata, it just ruined my windows install.
do you have to plug it all in, then turn the power on?
also, will the speedinghdd ports handle 2 seperate drives not in any raid...
it did a good job of keeping the nb cooler than without it.
today the nb hit 67* playin L4D online without the tumbler attached.
just played some L4D bout 2hrs ago with the tumbler, nb didnt go...

I have picture, but am backing up from USB drives atm, so...
Chucked the 1901bios on.
Still the same performance, can't see any difference.
At least it keeps the speedingHDD raid drives alone, didnt mess that up phew!
Ive tried those ram settings...
What are some Memory Bios options to get some speed up?

(Yer but huge threads are pathetic to find quick info)
Booting from Speeding HDD (possible solution)
Install a bootable drive on Primary Intel SATA port,
select External Disk 0 as the second...
i got the speeding hdd controller too boot, but i thinks its because the first drive on the intel port is a bootable vista drive.
Still not sure if its able to boot from the speeding hdd alone.
i have the M2F with 8GB DDR2-800, and use auto at 400FSB for everything.
Works fine.
The auto settings set FSB to 1.32v
it is possible to boot from SpeedingHDD as a raid-0 config in bios yes?
And use it as the C: for windows install.
Seen some info that it can't boot from speeding HDD as a main drive.
Whats the Raid controller like.
Im thinking of getting 2 150GB V-Raptors and using the Speeding HDD controller.
