Could be videocard aswell.

Vista SP3 = Win 7

Vista wasn't that bad imo , it just got bad press from the beginning.
Maybe a few quirks which were fixed in SP1

Check event logs, maybe that will tell you more.
Do a scheduled daily reboot as a workaround maybe.

I guess these are faulty WU's because they error out before any processing is done.

I tried to run 2 WU's on my HD5850 but gave up.
I had several ATI driver crashes within a couple of hours and then the WU's 'hang' , gpu work is stopped and you have to abort the stuck WU's...

Thanks for the info , my HD 5850 is now running 800Mhz core on stock volts :)
I've ran Furmark for 7 minutes or so , seems stable. No WU's in errors so far.

What programs do you recommend for testing GPU stability ? Don't want to waste hours testing you see :)

My 5850 is at 750Mhz core (original 725Mhz) but I'm sure it can go higher.
