The original 9600gso's had 96 stream processors and 768mb or 384mb configurations for RAM providing a 192-bit bus, G92-based. They later gimped them to 48sp with 512mb RAM and a 128-bit bus.

He means you cannot just add them together as the chart does... same deal with 2x256-bit vs. 512-bit.

I'll be selling my 5870 in mid-Feb probably, just to give myself some leeway and hopefully have some time for solid info to arrive (I'll sell anyway though)... then snap up a Fermi 512 hopefully,...

I hope so... I want to switch back from my 5870 to the Fermi. I'd think people looking to upgrade should wait considering it's supposedly so close, to see how it all shakes out, in any case.
