Thanks, I'll give it a try. The Asus DirectCU 768MB worked, 1.21V and 100% fan. 93% is highest RPM though :D

No problem, I'll keep an eye out for it later and will just keep working with the 70% limit in the meantime :) Thanks for doing all of these

I tried the POV 768MB BIOS on my Gigabyte GV-N460OC-768I (768MB/192-bit). Voltage works fine, but the fan only goes up to 70%.

The fan works to 100% on the stock Giga BIOS, can you mod this one...

I had a feeling I did that on one of them, too bad it was my best wPrime. Sorry that I made some extra work for you ;)

That's not as good as my retail for uncore, but my retail cores won't hit...

Yeah, I kept playing around with it. It actually seemed to like more/less depending either on # of core or multi or something. That wandering CBB still has me puzzled too

Oops, did I do 2 of the same tabs on the wPrime screen? :( At least it didn't change anything :D

I tried higher Vc in the second round, but the proc didn't go any higher. I wish it would've run...

I had a blast again this year, I think we all did. Thanks to everyone: GBT, all the sponsors and the OCers. It was great seeing everyone again and I hope we can do it all again next year :D

Got my hands on one of Scott's single stages last week, nice and strong

Did some quick testing and it went through a full 3D06 bench @ 5GHz 6/12 on a GT and didn't even move a full 1C through...

Hey Roger, 1.575Vtt, which is actually less than it needs for 235BCLK on the UD4P with high Uncore/tight mem. With lower Uncore and looser mem on the R3E, 240+ is OK with 1.4x Vtt. I haven't tried...

Just got the board a couple hours ago and popped the 920 in. I got this BCLK right away and have been working on it since. It won't go even .2 more BCLK more than this, seems like a pretty hard wall....

Actually that's awesome mem freq/timings for the BCLK :D

I picked up a 670 last night. Tried it first in the P55A-UD6, but for some reason, it won't boot (8.8. post code, restart, repeat). 860...

Lower CPU PLL can help. 1.84V is almost definitely not helping. Set your clock drives to 700mV each, that generally works best for me.

Have you tried booting at like 215 and clocking up on the...

I'm pretty sure it's going to be Vtt. You really shouldn't need much/any extra PCIe until you're looking to pass 220, but a little extra doesn't hurt. It really shouldn't take 108 @ 218 no matter...

Hmm. I think you need more Vtt.

I don't have a UD7 yet, but it shouldn't be much diff than X58. 108-112 should be enough (safe?) to get max BCLK. So if 108-112 doesn't help at all, I'm thinking...

Same limit on my old(er) PCIe modded Giga X58-UD4P. Ambient or cold on the proc makes no diff. I have no idea what the hold up is right at that specific point (like 237.5), but I can't really...

I don't think you're being limit by 8x at all. I'll bet once you get 16x going, if you bench both ways, you'll see no difference.

As for the locked out setting, I was on F5 and just updated to F6...

Yeah, as with all h/w, some are better than others. This 860 runs circles around the 870 that I had, just luck of the draw.

As for Vtt, you might even try lower than mentioned before too (like...

On ambient, 215BCLK is really about the benchable/stable limit (at least on all the 1156 boards I've tried). On WC benches, I am always 205-212. 1156 BCLK really only opens up on cold so if you're...

Got a P55A-UD6 this week, finally had some time to play with it this weekend. Solid board so far  I dusted off an HD4850 CF setup to test out in the board and while I wasn't too excited about...
