I've been informed ModMytoys sells the dreamflex tubing DangerDen used. Given they both were sold in 9.8 feet / 3 meter rolls it does appear to be the same stuff.

Hi guys. What's the best replacement for dreamflex tubing, or does anyone else make it under a different label? For instance Primochill's "primoflex" tubing looks (and sounds) pretty similar...

Didn't see Batch# L311b411 posted. Earlier Malay batch, requires a Ringbus voltage of 1.26v to maintain 4.2Ghz without a BSoD, Vcore 1.27v under water.
Wish I'd not even bothered with a "K"...
Just did a new build and first time I've used anything other than common vinyl tubing or cheap stuff that came with my first radiator.... and holy mother of watercooling, that DD Dreamflex tubing is...
Just built a new WC rig with a triple 140mm Thermochill radiator I'd been saving for this mod project. The thing was literally fit perfect for the top of a HAF-X case... but I digress. Got curious...
I looked, some other X58A model related stuff scattered throughout this thread. :D
Thanks Stasio!! Exactly what I was looking for.
Is there a changelog or anything available someplace on the X58A-UD5 F6i BIOS update? Gigabyte doesn't usually post beta BIOS's to their site unless there's a bugfix.
I agree, I really do want it to work... A PA120.3 would not be a problem here, but my own PA120.3 uses the wrong fan spacing to fit. So if I have to buy a new radiator, I might as well pay a little...
Levesque, I have one or two more questions for ya. How is the fit on that motherboard tray? Does it sit flush with the case? I ask because the UFO cube I got second hand doesn't, most of the options...
Thanks for the pointers/photos! Well, I assumed from the start it would have to fit underneath, on the inside of the case. And either putting the fans on top or between the rad and the mounts.

I bet you're glad the TIM hasn't had more time to set! Good way to build up those muscles though... :p:
With enough GPU cycles the heat just cures that stuff like cement... I hope I never have to...
The 140.3 will easily fit inside a 942, although it will end up half-inside the 5.25" bays. The PA140.3 is 480mm in length, and the 942 is 590mm in length.
What makes the HAF-X different is the...
I'm afraid I already made my choice with the EVGA GTX 480 FTW card/block combo (I came across a deal I couldn't turn down), but I'm very curious to see your results!
Would wonder if you're going...
Those are some really good ideas! I have a Swiftech micro-res that I'll be sure to try them on. :) Thanks!
Given how often I see hardware on these forums that's not released yet, I figured someone must have already tried fitting a PA140.3 into the top of the new HAF-X 942? :D
Figured I'd see if anyone...
Finished job looks really slick! Nice work on the modding. :)
Which "finish" type is the cube out of curiosity?
Cooler Master's new HAF-X aka (HAF 942) case is supposed to fit one of these things too. ;)
Hmm, interesting idea. There is only spot I could put one, but that is where the drive cage is and so there is not room for both a radiator + cage + fans there. The HDD's would bump into the 5.25...
Nice posts guys! Had some more PC issues crop up and didn't remember I posted here until checking my bookmarks... The motherboard is supposedly fine, turned out to be a malfunctioning PSU...
QPI probably isn't your issue. Remember that the Core i7 975X is rated for 6.4 GT/s QPI out of the box. If the Extreme CPU's are rated for 6.4 GT/s QPI, then almost all Core i7's should be capable of...
I own the old style PA120.3, it's been a good rad. I wanted to poll some of the gurus here (especially those that own a PA140.3 already) to see if a ~30-50W or ~10c difference sounds about right...
Yes, the BIOS LEDs are yellow. There are two of them, and one lights up to indicate which BIOS chip the system is currently booting from.
The board will not beep unless you have a case speaker...
Hm, thanks for your reply. As an enthusiast I would have expected some explanation of the BIOS settings to be in the DFI manual as most setting names do not conform to other board venders, at least I...
Well, it isn't just cosmetic discoloration. The 920 is 100% unstable at stock settings, the 930 can't even overclock anymore. Before I put it in the Gigabyte UD5 I tested it on the ASUS Rampage.......
The Gigabyte EX58-UD5 in my sig caused the damage to both CPUs. It's the one at fault here... I am trying to determine how to proceed. I am certain it was the motherboard, I never once used voltages...
