Site is back... feel free to run the aisles.
Thread necro warning... website issues are finally being resolved, looks like we'll have to rebuild it from backups and pieces, but the images are being restored now, so at least that content will be...
I got a short preview already, but its good to finally see all the products. Especially the Apogee Drive 2 and the VRM/Chipset blocks. :)
Big money, big money, no whammies, no whammies... stop.
between 4 and 5 units for me if I were to build a full system today.
I concur, surface area is not a good label.
However, the other thing I see here is that we took a simple, low-level comparison and complicated the :banana::banana::banana: out of it. Are...
Well, I'll hold any further opinion on the bleed valve until I have it in front of me. :)
Getting a set of 25mm fan screws and 38mm/mount screws is pretty much expected. Bleed valve...nah, scrap it. Stamped logo, expected, gotta have some branding visibility.
Glad to see you're still...
any time Bean, any time.
It is of interest to me, great interest, that testing has been on the back burner for over a year. I have a bench mostly built to do the testing... but other things have been pushed in front. In...
The longer you talk to him, the more you realize there are always silent/un-stated implications in his argument. :D
No worries, thats why I posted that I wasn't following, figured we just weren't lined up thinking to language yet. :)
I know exactly what you're asking now, here are the two issues that lead to...
Not exactly following what you mean...
Yeah, yeah... still testing pumps, just taken a back seat to a few other things. What info are you looking for? I probably have it, just not posted... actually sitting on quite a bit of...
Answering the OP, not Naekuh's detour.... My personal preference (use and performance) for dual DDC tops would be the EK and maybe the Watercool if the EK was already in use around the lab.

:hammer:
Just be glad you didn't have to deal with it before the formed o-ring.
I originally saw the 8.5mm clearance as not enough, but I see the predicament...
If you want to maintain the highest flow, you're going to need big bores through the connector to the block. In...

Nah, just kidding. I'll keep you guys posted, will be mixing this test in with shroud testing that is going on.
Go with a Jingway, low noise and lower power too. Rads are free flowing, so flow rate should not be an issue.
Yes, the EX is definitely a thinner rad than the RX. That I can confirm.
medium-high speed at low noise is attainable with quite a few fans out there. So, "LOUD", I tend to disagree there.
edit: Noise is one of those highly subjective areas.
I look at the EX (and other slims) a different way in the current radiator marketplace... Slim's are there for space constraints mostly, and we want the dissipation capability of a PA/RX/etc. in that...
^ +1
I have a lot of radiator data queued up (I may have been away from posting, but not testing), along with a new comparison in the same style as Vapor has been doing. I'm sticking with this radiator...
