I run with no side on my case, and will occasionally touch various heatsinks to see how theyre doing.
Usually theyre all fairly cool. Today I noticed my GTX480's heatpipes were too hot to touch,...
Which Rad did you use on the bottom? It seems the Swiftechs are the thinnest at 35mm
Dude. Can I give you a kiss for the sleeve job on that PSU? nohomo
You think a 3x120 and a 1x120 will be able to handle the heatload? Should I be putting the back rad inside or outside the case?
I guess on the back I can run a 38mm fan, but on the top a 20mm fan...
The issue with the radbox route is deskspace. I have none.
I may just buy another case, like a TJ07 maybe.
The width restriction is in the bay, which is 5.25" or 133mm.
Crap. I see your point.
I guess a 4x120 would fit in between the drive rails. It gets REAL tight lenght wise.
a 2x140 would...
Hmm..
Koolance 360 for CPU
EK x58 for MoBo
EK 480 x2 for GPUs
??? 3x140 Rad. Thermochill?
Pump? Theres LOTS of flow restriction here..
Res? I might have to stick with a T-line..losing the top...
Mainly Im a graphic designer. Now, my graphical projects dont stress the system. :p
I do game, I do Fold.
I did some quick measurements this morning and it looks like I have room for a 420...
The only issue with your 220 placement..is Im running 6 hard drives and cant sacrifice the HDD cage.
Its been a LONG time since I did WC.
In running:
CM Cosmos 1000
Corsair 1000w PSU
eVGA x58 Classified 3-way SLI
Core i7-930 @ 4.0GHz
eVGA GTX480-SLI
Running the system in my sig, need a new display setup. Currently running a single Samsung 24" from 2006.
I need more real estate, and would actually prefer 2 22-24" Displays over a single larger...
Hey guys. After a few years, Im back! Built this system yesterday to help me run my new business. Havent even installed drivers yet.
...
So Im driving to Philly in my car soon. All the other times Ive made the trip, Ive used someone else's car, with Navi, and had someone with me, and I often still found myself lost.
I went and...
It appears to me as if the Apogee-1U with G80 retention plate would be the best route then. Since the MCW60 has that step.
IIRC They are identical inside?
Wait wait wait...you'd rather spend $80-$200 on a pump(s), then spend $20 and replace your entire loop with metal barbs?
What would be the difference tbetween the MCW60 and the Apogee-1U?
Whered you get it. When I said anyone I meant vendors.
The MCW-RAMCOOL blocks arent compatible w/ the 8800s since the 8800s have 12 RAM chips, those things on teh other side (Voltage Regulators) and that extra thing next to the PCI Bracket.
Does anyone even have the MCW60 G80 adapter in stock yet?
Who cares how old it is as long as it works?
Northbridge. You MUST get somethign to cool the SB.
Pics!!!!
I have one an dlove it. Its fast, and the colors are on par or better than any other LCD Ive used.
You get light bleed ONLY on a completely black screen. Now..who sits there and stares at a black...
Umm...dont cool the HDDs. Dont cool the NB unless it gets abnormally hot.
There really is no extra benefit to cooling VGA RAM (or RAM in general), but if you really want to, your only options are...
