Today I noticed something strange the three fans that are softwrae cotrolled ( Chipset, CPU, PWM) work fine in BIOS and up til windows in windows they stop.
I checked Smartgaurdian, changed the...
well you get a pin from a 754 cpu and solder it on, Of course your soldering skills must be good and you should have tweezers.
I gave mine to a buddy which solderd them on but unfortunatley he...
what is a NC pin? sory if it's a dumb question but you don't learn if you don't ask
I was just wondering would the pins of a P4 fit an work with a 939 opteron?
I have a 936 :slapass: pin opty at home and would like to make it functional again. But its hard to get either a 754 or...
With the risk of getting boring and missing the thread completley I need an opinion on a CAB2E 0602 DPGW. As my Venice is total crap, and my opty is a unique 938 pin model, i saw this opty on e bay...
OK now I have a dilemma.
CABGE 0536 VPMW- 144
or
CABYE 0530 GPMW--146
both on e-bay
the 146 ran 2,6@1,45V Prime stable on a AV8 3rd eye
The 144 never ran.
Just to get sure before I place my bid on ebay :D
what do you guys think of this one?
CABYE 0530 GPMW
Opty 146
At the default jumper setting it's ×2, you have to change the jumper bank setting to postion 2-3 then both are ×8.
IMHO a low profile waterblock is the best decison.
max height has to be 11mm.
:lol2:   :bounces:
Good one!
probably but, maybe it's possible to reproduce that bug.
Something must have caused this bug, to stay. Maybe even a voltage peak.
get rid of the crappy NB HS,
I've installed a Zalman NB47J but the Graphics card has to be in the second PCIe slot or use a coolermaster NB heatsink.
Since the gap between the ribs is wider than on...
That's because the chip "introudces" it self to the mobo as an 3200, careless of the higher multi and by that the higher frequency.
AFIK the A64 are not recognized by their multy or their frequency...
35 week most probably an E6, it's a lottery with the E6's. SOme go liek hell others can't get 2500Mhz.
well that was his CPU.
Cooled by what? Congrats.
well a buddy of mine just got an 0532 E3 that goes w. stock voltage to 2.6 Ghz while the old 0520 needed 1.6 for 2.5Ghz.
Did Iunderstood this thread corretly, that you are acctually belieing MBM and smartguardain? Just an example smartguardian on my old board ( the one in the sig) was telling me 12V@11.71, and MBM5...
AFIK no! It's a slightly modificated E3, I think that SSE3 instructions are impelmeted better than in the E3's.
compared to the E3's how do they perform?
Is there a general reccomendatin for a good E6 stepping?
He'll cover the pins in dust :D ;)
OK I know I'm getting boring BUT!
As soon I select CAS 2,5 in the memory menu with whatsoever settings the board posts but nothing after that. I cant't get into BIOS, if I don't try to enter the...
Sounds very logical to me. But maybe, just maybe they haven't done that.

Damn board! It turns out that as soon as I set CAS 2,5 on the memory it refuses to cooperate. This time I can't even get to the BIOS, just a blinking cursor.
Windows? Just getting the messgae that...
