Just tried the Mushkin Redline Enhanced 12 GB kit, no go...
G42 BIOS with optimized defaults-
With all three sticks it boots to initial post screen and hangs. With two sticks in any slots it boots....

Will there be support for the 990x chip?

Just did the G42 BIOS update in anticipation of the Nvidia 580 cards, so far so good, settings to follow...

OC back up to 3.864 Ghz, no usb issues with power coming out of the conditioner only side, and the SAS controller no longer hangs on restart.

if I take it off the UPS the issue returns, so either its the power out of the wall or a weak 5v line on the ps, I am still at stock speed.

Only boot issue I have using P09 is when restarting it hangs at the sas controller for some reason, using a Patriot SSD on the port.

Its got power conditioning built in and can be "adjusted" through the Belkin Bulldog software. I havent had the chance to pick up a Kill-a-Watt to see how the power coming out of the wall is, but...

I have been having crazy USB issues with my board, so first tried stock clock settings, same, system USB backpanel ports occasionally would not be recognized on startup. Tried going from P09 to P06...

running 25 now, could get much more from my C0 stepping, and havent figured out why I have to choose the disk to boot to, but barely spent any time on it, may need a D0 cpu to squeeze some more from...
