Yes, you've to connect, like in the picture, a 1kohm vr setted to 500 ohm from 3.3v rail (under the atx connector) to the pin #3 of the chip (adp3198)... i think is clear in the picture, just look...

I think is 32M capable... ahah... anyway, is validated by the server and this give on my head an huge "?", some cpu-z cheats could afflict overclock world
Feel free bro

Eheh i've to try another mobo but first i wanna try to put ln2 also on the NB and make vmch mod too... maybe i'm fsb limited :)
Well, you've to connect a 500 ohm resistance between pin 3 and +3.3v...
Nothing special and nothing new of course but it's always pretty funny put those cpu under cold! :p:
I'd like to try it with another mainboard couse this p5b has many problems, anyway...
First run:...
Congratz guys, really nice amd runs! :bows:
i'd +0.230v with normal vmod, than passed from 1.7v to 1.93... after the ovp i had to low down the voltage in the bios till 1.62v so i can have around 1.97v on cpu-z (vmod+ovp)... or you can set...
Ok, officially IT WORK! Thanks ;)
interesting thread ;)
I'm back to overclock and i'm waiting for i7 setup, anyway i'm playing with a p5b dlx (i like old school mobo) but i'm a bit confused, can someone tell me again how to bypass...
Eheh bro, let this chip sleep sometimes! Congratz for the achievement!
It measure 2.21kohm :)
It's a resistance, so i think you can skip it with the trimmer...for me was difficult to solder in the original point
I don't know...in my mobo work well...
Post a macro of the zone if u can...:)
Another way, better if you have an economic soldering iron :D
Same trimmer as Zilla's said...for me work with less than 50k...around 30k for +0.150v
...
Mmm are you happy about those i7 guys? I'm not so enthusiast atm...we'll see
Great run Pippo...like always
Happy to have xs members at the competition!
 Welcome back bro
ahahah lol, sorry i was talking about magazine of course :D
I tried with tube on nb too on this mobo but i think that subzero temps aren't helpful...good luck
Really good work!
