SATAIII when in a 2.5" case, SATAII when in mSATA on motherboard. Make sense?
Any1 know something about the 6 years extended warranty offered from GIGABYTE Germany for the P67/Z68 UD7/5/4 boards? What about the other regions?
Google Translate of the registration form:
Yeah, go for it. The boards are similar enough. Let's keep all in one place.
Um, I thought you were the one with no sleep problems too... Apparently I'm the only one then.
But let's not go off topic here.
Ket, please, don't spreed this bs about Intel SB sleep bug. With your reputation here people trust you. Asus and Asrock are the ones having sleep problems with SB. If that's coming from your Asrock...
Ok, see your point now... No I don't use PLL OV on regular basis. Just played with it + S3.
My PC S3-sleeps all night 8+ hours every night. That's what I use for many years. Never had problems except one early UD7 bios resetting the multiplier to stock after wake up which GB fixed very...
RAID...
And yes, Z68X have latest Intel RAID ROM v10.5.0.1034 for the SRT to work. My modded P67 bios has it too along with some other things. So that might be the issue. Otherwise it works great.
I'm using S3 sleep only with my UD7 and never had a single problem waking @4.7GHz, PLL OV disabled, 4x4GB RAM. Reading about other boards sleep problems and some statements it's SB (with and without...
Nothing helped even after power disconnect/battery removed overnight. This morning the board didn't want to start, no fans no anything, like there wasn't any power. Disconnected the 24-pin ATX...
You guys are right... Those P->Z->P bios flashings are really weird. Now I'm back on P67 F4 bios and CPU-Z 1.57.1 still shows my board as Z68X-UD7-B3 and reads VTT as Vcore... Clear CMOS didn't help....
So basically with the modded Z68X-UD7-B3 bios on P67 board you can use all future Z68 normal bioses?
I gotta try this.
EDIT: First start with optimized defaults OK, some minor bios options...
needs Dynamic Energy Saver™ 2 installed.
I have 2 dual channel sets ripjawsX, same model/serial# but programed with different SPDs/same XMPs. One of them runs stock speed undervolted, the other one can't. It's all about different...
No GUI BIOS on GB Z68 boards and SSD Caching is pointless IMO.
I guess it will... later.
From one of the .xml files we can see what is capable of:
<?xml version="1.0" ?>

Won't install on P67. CAB extracted -> doesn't start complaining it's not Z68 board.
Probably b/c it's not critical. I changed mine to normal Automatic.
Supports Z68 boards only...
Who said it is going to use UEFI?

For 24/7 with all C states on, idle 1600@~1V. Do you see better option?
... and how exactly Extreme6 adds extra PCI-E lanes?
Only MIVE and UD7 "does". And it's not even "adding lanes".
It's [NORMAL], only way to use DVID and depends on particular CPU and multiplier.
[NORMAL] with DVID 0.00 = [AUTO] = VID
LLC gives me under 1V in idle and Vcore doesn't scale properly for low...
