Give me Thief 4 or give me death.
They need to fix their hardware acceleration on Intel integrated HD solutions (4500MHD, etc.) first. Although, to be fair, I think Intel is also partly to blame.
You'd see good gains in most games, others none at all, and even in some you'd lose performance. I don't think the jump would be worth it in the games you would see an increase in; an evolution...
Bah! I'd go to Mars even if the chances of a successful return were 50/50.

Open is definitely the way for the future, but there is an argument to be made that closed = funding = better product.
Wow, I wish you good luck. Not two easy majors.
Probably just a driver/OS communication problem. Make sure you bring it up in Nvidia's forum if it hasn't been brought up already. If it has, add to the list of affected users with relevant...
What about processor?
I'm pretty sure Quake 3 is where you'll want to invest your time. I don't see any arena game stealing that crown any time soon.
We need some system specs because if your GPU's are that old there is a good chance that the rest of your system is just going to bottleneck a new GPU anyways. Also, what resolution are you playing...
Have you jumped it yet like you're supposed to or do you just show it off and let the crackheads wash the windows in the streets of New York? :p:
For every 10/10 Swedish blond you send our way, we'll send you a big-ass North American truck.
Are you arguing that 15/19 is good or something?
I consider ~27mpg average or better to be "good." Hard for trucks, I know, but I don't consider any truck good on gas. There are some small 4-cyl...
4x4 truck that's good on gas? Give me a ring when you find it.
Are you outputting the sound to a receiver?
To be fair, though, they could double the price and Live would still be better than PSN.
I definitely wouldn't buy an HD 5870 retail right now considering the price jacking that occurred over the past few months. I'd hold out with your GTX 260. Dip into some games that you've missed in...
How was I trying to correlate pessimism and humor? You emphasized something negative about the given situation - as usual - and I said, in an imaginative way, you were being pessimistic. So, what...
He's Asian, dude. He is a homophobe, though, so he does have white trash qualities. :p:
Yup. I returned it after testing it for one day. Low input lag, good color, jaw-dropping black levels and contrast, but horrible motion handling.
That was a good clip.
By the way, has anybody looked up the definition of pessimism lately? All the entries say "see Saaya", but when I do a Google search all the hits link to XtremeSystems. ...
Calories in, calories out, it's simple as that. Strenuous cardio and input less calories than you're putting out.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SPOT FAT REMOVAL.
The X1900XT was my first self-bought GPU. We had a 9600 Pro back in the day, though, in our family rig. Ohhhh, Quake 2 memories all of a sudden. :D
+1
I'm always reminded of my X1900XT.
