Wow, you need to grow a pair and stand up for yourself more......
My wife would not want me spending hundreds on hardware and to be honest I should not be, but within reason I am free to spend...
Based on comparisons with the 580M, board power consumption looks around 80W
At the utter limit of what the motherboard can supply. If you fully overclock it at stock volts (for me at least) it will trip the motherboard and shut off the system.
I think it's the total draw...
Wow I never thought you guys would still be flailing around like this.
We already did it for the 7970M:
...
With eyefinity support because the integrated GPU supports it (since it outputs the final display) with up to 3 monitors (I am guessing 2 outputs).

Hmz just how far will the GPU shut itself off to let the CPU stretch its legs as much as...
Got it working, needed to tweak the watchdog timer into really switching off.
How do you know the bios has speedstep or not when the celeron itself does not support it.
In many cases installing a celeron hides the option in the bios even.
Hey guys, I have an MSI 16F2 barebone notebook. Xonar from notebookreview.com has unlocked the bios allowing for full options.
With X.M.P memory installed it also unlocks frequency generator...
My 7738G build is finaly nearing completion.
Original spec:
Q9000 2ghz C2Q
4GB 7-7-7-21 DDR3 1066mhz
GT240M 1GB DDR3 MXM-A
1600x900 LED backlit LCD
2x 500GB 5400rpm HDD
DVD-RW drive
SO-DIMMS, so what?

Low latency kit should match the Phenom IIs nicely.
Currently testing:
310mhz HTT, 2.8ghz ish HT, 2.8ghz ISH NB, 610mhz 6-6-6-30-1t ram.
1.425v CPU core, 1.325v NB.
The 960T should be.
BTW you can increase voltages on hex cores on this board beyond 1.475v by using the fine adjustments to above it.
(CPU VDD = 1.475v, CPU voltage = 1.5v)
Walbed it needs to be around 50k ohms as far as I can tell.
46.5K ohms should do it.
This is because there is already around 5.5k ohms to ground, this mod is adding another in parallel.
Well I am getting a 1055t for this board :) Will arrive tomorrow.
Well I dont know if they changed it but i've been up to 1110mhz core on this mod.
Hmz this could turn out well.
Are you pairing it with a particular lighting colour?
Would green be too cliche?
Well my HTT can go high but my 550 BE is pants. It unlocks but does not overclock much, core or NB.
V1.6 bios.

Yeah I am experimenting with a slim 80mm fan, that way even though its covering my H50 fan its letting air through by spinning.
If no I have a small 40mm fan that i'll get in there.
I can see...
Seems to be PWM temp, eek even after decreasing the PWM frequency 30% its still that hot, wow.
When on load both my chipset and CPU temps are rock stable but my system temp sky rockets above 70C
Any idea where this sensor is located? Anything I need to cool better?
Have you thought about a high quality 3rd party power supply thats maybe rated more?
Anyway congrats.
OT sorry.
I love my mobility HD 4650. Its gone from 500/500(1000 DDR) to 750/605(1210 DDR). The DDR2 on its not bad.

I have been pencil modding my 5830. What about using a conductive...
