Samsung 830 256MB with 3.5PiB of writes... so far. That should do the trick.
They are about $200US at Newegg. They have been on sale for under $200.

Maybe Sandforce controllers work better with properly written FW. :shrug: :up:

Some of you may vaguely remember way back when (last summer??) I posted Intel pdf links for the Intel 320.

I had found in one of the Intel pdf's the Intel 320 had no read only point...
