I'm running a pair of HD4870s and a Gigabyte i-RAM in the bottom PCI slot.

So the ~50c reading is just heat accumulating under the i-ram card?

My NB on my board is idling @ 54c.....

i havent tried much with my timings - just 5-5-5-15 and the rest auto....i have got to 1200mhz with my 800mhz sticks.

i would say maybe 2.5v max for a quick session - just make sure you have some form of cooling on them (dual 80mm fans etc)
