I only have 4870's and got them running in tri-fire, only thing i can say is if i ever had any card in the middle slot (the x4 slot), crossfire was no go. What bios are you running?

That perfect spacing is actually why i bought the board, but sadly that middle pciEx slot is 4x only and is not supported in CrossfireX configurations.
