Sweet, thanks!!
If you don't mind me asking, what case is that in your sig?
I've been running a Corsair HX1000 on my 760 since I got the Classy with no problems whatsoever.
Did you try Nils' sleeving??
MDPC-X
He does and he does excellent work but he is located in Germany.
Is it possible to use my 5870 on slot 3 and my 8800GT on slot 1 for PhysX with the 5870 being my primary display?
I just cut the heatshrink with a blade, moved them to the PSU side and then reshrank them.
You have to order the 100mm one. I got mine off of EBay
You won't be disappointed, trust me! I'll get you a pic with it mounted with red fluid running through it and some temp screenshots when I get home tomorrow! Did you decide on what EK Block you are...
So true! My XFX 5870 never even saw air, had an EK Block on it before it was even powered on!
No problem, those kind words are well deserved! I throw up some pics of temps and the waterblock early next week when I get home so you can see the blocks in action.
Xion, this is the first time I have chimed in but have been watching from the start. The build looks great and I can't wait to see it completed! As for the rads, they should be fine. I'm running the...
Nope, as far as I know, all modular PSU cables are different on the hardware and PSU side so it can only go in one way.
Good stuff Alexxx! If you don't mind, what kind of cooling was that and can you post settings? Thanks!
Yep, Nils' (aka Dualbrain on here) store, the best and only sleeving to use!! He is located in Germany and ships worldwide. Here ya go!!
MDPC-X.com
NP!
That would be a Corsair HX1000!
Yes, great work Tad, looks amazing!
If you order from Nils (aka Dualbrain, the original distributor of this sleeve, I think his family makes it if I remember correctly) it will be coming from Germany so shouldn't take that long at all....
I love my HX1000 and Corsair has great customer service from what I have seen. Also, I can confirm that it has 2 8-pin connectors, one hard-wired and one modular.
Yeah, just did like 2 days ago. Luckily there was no warping this time but there is definitely fingerprints and what not all over the back of the board. I fired it up and it runs fine, still haven't...
Nem, don't give up! Are you sure your putting the cables in the same orientation as they came out. They only fit in the same way. If you try to put them the wrong way, the cable will not go in.
Cpt,
I almost piss my pants when I read your threads! :ROTF::rofl::clap::up:
Great work as usual.
releX, looking awesome and can't wait to see more!
Not sure if it matters, but just wanted to let you know that the HX1000 has a 140mm fan, not 120. Just a heads up.
Keep up the awesome work...
Yep, they charged me too. I think its because we don't live in the US.
No problem, you'll love it!
