Iam using arcm_64_v6.20.00.15_ with vista ultimate64 sp1 and a areca 1230 and it loaded just fine.I have read some where there was and issue with the sp1 in vista for some people but i cant remember.

I think this board has crash free bios.You can reflash with same bios and interupt it and us the dvd and a usb flash to recover and older bios or on the dvd there is a utility to flash in windows...

If you load xp first you will have to put a partition using partition magic 8.0 or something like that.If you load vista first you can put a partition in using vista.
