yeah, it does seem a bit odd, looks like they just didnt test it enough.

I did recover my bios chip though. easy fix:

kinda hard to see but they get shallower toward the centre. total of 13 holes.

seems more logical to have more mass in the centre and working outward getting deeper.

I do want to. I just dont know if there is an easy way other than drilling. and how many holes before it becomes unnecessary and it would work better keeping the mass.
