those are MIPS ram freezers.
homemade is pretty impressive :)
Ok, potted history of my work! :)
First watercooled pc back in 2004 I think

Quickly decided I could get 2 loops in a PC65...
Thats a chance I'm prepared to take tbh :)
is that aimed at me?
its been built abuot a year now with no leaks, its 7/16 tubing over fat 1/2" barbs and its so tight I needed to heat the ends of the tubing in boiling water to get them over...
yeah, on the right of the desk there's my old 5.25 sata dvdrw, I made an extended sata to esata cable and a molex to sata power cable to I can run standard DVDRW and HDDs from my desktop :)
...
Switched my 2nd loop from its failed pink idea to black to extend the green/black theme throughout.
Personally I think its much better, hope you agree!

sorry, i meant the other way round, the cpu can't be below the ambient, its phisically impossible unless you're using sub zero cooling.
your bios temp is just wrong tbh, the "system" temp is normally the ambient which can't be below the cpu temp anyway.
Tom over at chilledpc.co.uk has been using his CNC machine to thin EK blocks down to truly single slot so yeah, they can be but they need work.
I bet there's virtually no evidence to support that. Temps around loops tend to be pretty constant from what i understand.
would I be right in thinking you can't get the side panel back on?
@hotshot100
very amusing.. however one way that really could work is if you bought a load of tubing and put your RAD next to the ac unit. That may well make a huge difference if its super cold air...
that takes me back! :)

@ jarvo1
with those T junctions supplying water to your chipset loop, especially with it being smaller bore tubing, how do you get ANY flow? Unless I'm missing a hidden pump I think you'd be much...
wait until you've actually DONE it..
even the sound difference is enough to make you never ever everevereververdverefervereverevedsrdfyudeg go back.
End of. :)
yay!! another person who wants watercooling over optical drives :) I connect my old sata dvdrw via esata when I need it now, which is hardly ever! Nice build :)
my point was phenoms are pointless, not overclocking... you're right, that is mandatory ;)
firstly yes it would!
secondly why would anyone want to bother oc'ing a phenom right now?
and thirdly maybe because it lets you pull silly vcores/oc's and temps on quads!
Finaly 4th point...
being in the UK you really ought to get yourself onto chilledpc :) nice PC, nice colours.. I like pink! (as you might have seen!)
its a lian li PC70 that has been well and truly modded by my good friend Tom at ChilledPC.co.uk basically he chopped the front out then mounted a new panel on the front of hit holding one of his own...
Some more pics.. I fixed the psu :D
Not at all impressed with the pink feser, its no more UV reactive than I am.. probably going to switch to the UV black I think.

must admit I'm curious too, 37 posts and most of them are pretty much the same picture.
it is indeed a mips ram freezer 4..
here's an inside pic :)
