Replacement card seems to be fine (on air). I still don't like the Koolance block, seems to be made sloppy. Didn't even care to mount the replacement block after checking its fit.

Quick update.
So far my GTX 280 experience has been a nightmare -- turned out the card was from a defective batch (would behave the same w/ original cooling), had to RMA it.

Had the same experience. It's not really frozen tho, somehow the keyboard events got "stuck". I finally managed to get to the file and program it by hitting a key (arrow, enter) and then hitting...
