i dont get image trought DVi output no matter what config i use.
i'm going to try other bioses to see if i can solve this problem.

yep, done that. but no success.
tkx for helping. going to try that peg first to see if it works.

I have a ds3 and a x1800xt, and is I use DVI cable i get no image at all. either in bios or windows, i get no image output trought the DVI.
if i use dvi to VGA...
nice happy beep you got there.
now just give it a little more juice and post some pi 1M.
the sub timings for the gskill HZ 6400 should be:
3
10
5
13
hope this information helps. ;)
they are not timings that i got by myself. they're really the sticks default value.
when I came to this thread I was hoping to find some usefull help.
then I saw this picture:

well, its ok that the most part of this forum...
it was half dead allready. might aswell try VMCH :stick:
i have a 200kohm VR .
but i really dont feel like dismounting all this stuff again.
i tuned the vcore VR to maximum and i get a 0.02 overvolt.
so i guess its ok like that for a week or two....
only :banana::banana::banana::banana:.
this mod overvolts a lot.
i have 1.4 set in bios an i get 1.65 after de vdroop mod.
before the vdrop i had tuned de vcore mod in order to have 1.4.
...
lower resistance = higher vdimm
set max resistance on the POT before soldering, start lowering before aplying the mod.
set everything but auto in bios. so you can have a reference value.
if...
and i tought that i was going to take a lot of time in order to tune the POT.
if it is like you say so, its pretty simple :D
did you did it the way i marked it on the picture ??
please post how you did it.
i'll do mime tomorow and report ASAP.

Processor: E6400 @ 3.8Ghz
Motherboard: P5B VANILLA
Memory: GSKILL 2 x 1 GB HZ PC6400 @ 4-4-4-12 950mhz
Cooling: NEXXUS XP SILVER
FSB: 475
Memory Mult: 1:1
vcore: 1.6V
vdimm: 2.2V
pcie: 110
before the mod i wasn't able to hit 3.8ghz on my allendale 6400, because max vcore on bios only gave-me 1.53, wich wasn't enough to clock the chip at that speed. i need 1.575 to boot to windows with...
50k is fine for the job.
i did mine with a 50k and it works like a charm.
to bad that droops 0.04 under dual orthos.
tkx mate.

hey mate can tou please check what persivore asked in his last post?
pelase check it out if you can.
unless you use raid, it's not worthy to change from a p5b to a p5b-e.
i guess vmods are equal to p5b , cause vcore & vdimm regulators seem to be the same.
for those talking nonsense about this...
