If you don't have aluminium at all, no corrosion inhibitor is necessary. Just use 1-2 drops of a biocide like PT Nuke.

This is plausible because if you ever did house painting, you get milky water when you clean your rollers. The white color come from titanium dioxide and the same effect could be done with aluminium...
I admit I didn't try with 3 UK 3000 but if I have the 3rd one, I would have tested it to confirm it's a design issue.
I run the Kaze Master with 2x Ultra Kaze 3000 and 2x 120mm case fans (the ones which came with the PC-A05B) without issues. Reading and control is fine so some of you might have gotten a bad unit.

With the D-Tek Fuzion v2 and UNI-Sink, you reuse the stock backplate as well. As Erasmus354 said, it's a aluminium backplate which act as a heatsink for the back memory chips.
