but a good choice of u and du is a better option for that one

The derivative of lnV(4+x²) is
D(lnV(4+x²))=(1/V(4+x²))(D(V(4+x²)))=(1/(2(4+x²))(D(4+x²))=(1/(2(4+x²))(2x)=x/(4+x²)
