Lighting bolt?
Seriously though. I have not seen a side fan help in any of my cooling experiments (side meaning introducing air to a airway or removing it from an airway.). You might as well put a...

Lighting bolt?
Seriously though. I have not seen a side fan help in any of my cooling experiments (side meaning introducing air to a airway or removing it from an airway.). You might as well put a...
Zippy Emacs I think... But I had never seen them around where I live (mind you not much is up here..)
I don't recommend too much exhaust myself as that gives dust a place to sit. I think the best idea I have seen yet is slower fans... I have not looked yet for 80mm. But I just picked up some SilenX...
I like :D. Now I just need to get my hands on one of those.
And yes just enough voltage is more stable then too much because there is less heat generated. That is why just throwing 1.5 volts at...
He is using the eliminator though... And if I am not mistaken that is less powerful then a freezone. I know I am considering a Freezone myself but I was thinking of waiting for penryn quads to put it...
I think that if you are going to play a lot of Supreme Commander the Quad would be really nice. I know it drags my system down when I get a full game going. Lots of units gives me a 2 second delay...
Well I'm glad to see Plextor is still alive and kicking. I have two of their 755 SA drives. And I can echo Cracker said. I have had a sony (which failed) a Mitsumi (decayed) then in DVD burners, two...
Sounds like I might actually have to give up my beloved Zalman cooler for a Tunic tower.... :D Nice work there with that OC...
Yeah I had some issues with overclocking a while back when I used SATA... I could not overclock past a point with the drives enabled... I eventually worked around that but I forget wht it was......
Can't be a problem with the CPU as I had mine up there on AIR semi-stable with those same volts.... Though I do need a better case and CPU fan yet myself.
What software are you guys using for Vista x64 to read your FSB and that... I don't want to reboot all the time just for that.. I am finding nothing that works to read my FSB. Speedfan required a...
No driver issues for x64 for me other then the 8800 series... and that is nvidia's fault...
I dunno maybe so you can kick more asses... :stick:
Well... I think the Tough power or Smart Power are okay but if you ask me the Neo and HE are just dodgy PSU's It may work but I would personally want more then 500 watts of clean power. IE Enermax...
Yes get a real Power supply... That Antec is like a no name brand thing... And check and make sure the HSU is attached properly... I have had them not connected properly when I switched cases......
Can you raise the multiplier?
That is a little warm if you ask me and you should be able to get higher. I'm not too up on that board but I know the 975 has a wall at 333 that can be turned off by disabling something (actual...
Sweet... I'm getting close to looking at one of those.. my Asus is giving me some headaches with the multiplier but maybe I should just use the FSB right? hehe No. That board looks very attractive to...
Yes 3.64 was very stable. I have it down now because I have not played with the settings much. 3.7 was stable too. But not 3.73. And yes I am refering to the X6800 the dual core extreme edition. And...
I know this topic is kindof started but I can't find anything with the topic.
But the ratio has been locked in 1605. And I just updated to 1707 and it's still locked. Does anyone know if there is...
No kidding. The Super Prime does not work on Vista either... Still a lot of problems with Vista.
In theory yes. My biggest complaint is that the XS mod versions do not work. The original one works and so does the SSE patched edition.
What is this Super Prime? I'm gona try it anyway and thanks...
Is there a x64 version?
I just recently switched to Vista x64 and don't intend to go back so I was wondering if there was an x64 version of Super Pi somewhere because I sure can't find one.
...
Correct. I'm going back to the 1500 series. Though the 1602 had some nice fixes... Except for that multiplier...
Hmm... Wierd that you had to disable Raid to get a faster time. I got 15 something @ 3.7 or 3.74 I thinks.... With Raid enabled but that was through the Asus EZ Driverless raid on the P5W-DH so that...
