HMMMM, maybe? Especially since that host has turbo disabled and is only running at 3100, has MJ12 running, and last is also my daily driver!
if you've got a 12+K RAC with a 980X either your at 6+GHz which you aren't or your one slick SOB thats running some tricks I don't know about,,:D
Boy you got that right..Almost 100F here at 11:27am..WCG is off till tonight when the temps drop.
Between the electrical cost of running 3 AC's and the machines pulling a constant 1200W but the...
Impressive pal, I get nervous if any cores touch 65C..:D
That is immense for any machine working 24/7...IMMENSE!!!!!!!!
What I want to see is a 20,000RAC..If possible it will take a LONG time to get there but we all need to have out\r goals! :D

No "yeabuts"..The boards are $2000.00 and up..Key word is up and the socket 1567 cpu's suck electricity like it was free.
Here's my opportunity to say what I've been thinking for a long time:
What you get out of those X5670's impresses the living sheet out of me!

You can pull my E5-2687W from the list if you want.. Changed to a SSD and new ID so will be a few before I'm even close to 5000RAC..LOLOL
It isn't the machine thats the issue, it's temps are controllable. It is the huge heat dump into the house and keep in mind that I haver a 82 year old lady here to make sure she doesn't drop dead...
ahh, well thats all good and fine but this is a little more low tech.
I mean open case on my kitchen table..:D
Thankfully five feet behind it is a sliding glass door that does draw most of the heat...
Well I don't think it's doing too bad considering that two days this week it was down for app 6 hours a day.
It was very hot here and I draw the line when I can't get the house temps below 82F so...
I may have passed Infrnl but this machine should.. The killer to me is watching what he gets out of that rig.
Talent, pure talent and I'd like to offer a :bows:...
:bows:
Someone want to give stoneageman a :stick: for an update..I mean it's been almost 4 days..:D
Because I wasn't aware that you could do that..:D
Thanks for the info.
Only down side is I'll be starting from scratch later this week. This 150 gig Raptor can't handle all the reads and writes even with a timeframe of 1200 seconds set in WCG.
Periodically I'll do...
