I'd suggest soldering ground wires closer to GPU.
Also putting some 0805/0603 MLCCs and POSCAPs right behind GPU could give you 25-50MHz too.
Usual rule - more capacitance is better when it's close...

Pretest #2, TWIN EVGA GEFORCE GTX 690, cooled by QUAD KPC TEK9 GEMINI's.

Same system except second LN2 card, CPU still on air, overclocked to 4.9GHz.

Got my hands on GTX 690, so decided to try this masterpiece under subzero cooling.

I did not bother testing it on aircooling, just checked memory OC (cards were ok to go 3.6-3.7GHz no problems)...
