Hi Charonjr, please do post any questions you have. I always check if there are updates on this thread.
We've been able to get that far for a long time, the problem is doing more than just extracting the BIOS modules.

Yes it's running, only problem is that I have tried everything I can think of to get a multi processor HAL and kernel to boot, but without any luck.

The Asrock motherboards with the cards to allow the use of a different CPU socket (and memory type in the AM2 upgrade) always intrigued me.

Drives aren't in any sort of RAID. If I had space to shuffle files around, I would try it with two of the discs in RAID0, but...

AndroIRC, Ventriloid and Teamspeak3 I can recommend if you use anything of that sort.
Connectors on these boards are 16 and 18 pins. 16 pin has eight 12v and ground, 18 pin has 7 of each. I'll take a picture of my PSU later if it might be of any use.
