That is correct. I have my 6700K configured this way, at idle it will downclock to 800MHz, but the voltage will not vary by more than ~10mV from the specified setting.

What kind of response do you really expect with a post like that?

I really wonder why there is a push towards monoblocks recently. I much prefer having standalone blocks for the CPU/VRM/Chipset, that way the CPU cooling is not tied to a particular mobo.

At least it's an improvement over necessitating Kaby Lake, unfortunate that Edge is still a requirement though.

Of course, but two 16GB pro Vega cards would likely be 2-3x the price. The way I see it, this card is for those who needs lots of VRAM and not much raw computational power on a budget.
