Yes, 12cm should be plenty of room for the pump. It is also powerful enough for any standard size case/loop.

Yes, no problem at all and thanks for the kind words. Only too happy to post the reviews.
I have just received an update from Alphacool regarding the newer variation of this model that has the black chrome top. Apparently they are still fine tuning it to get the last bit of cooling...
Do bare in mind though that it is only usable on one occasion per chip, so if you burn them on a regular basis you will still have problems.
I haven't got it to hand now but from memory that was exactly how it worked anyway. It started off with full voltage and then dropped to whatever speed(voltage) was set.
It does cover the UK as well as I have received my email certificates covering the CPUs I have covered.
Well I can't say for sure as I don't have any of them to try because I use 13/10 for my builds. However I would have thought that the same would apply as in they would be tight but still just fit....
I have taken out the insurance on both my 2500K and 3770K but so far haven't needed to claim. I am glad to hear that it works as it is supposed to though!
Thanks for the pictures. It certainly is some board!
I am surprised at that as most of the manufacturing bases are in the Far East and so your market is close to them in relative terms. I mean the largest second hand car market for Japan is Australia....
Excellent review as usual. These are going to become more popular with cloud technology coming to the fore. Synology is a top firm.

Reeven are a relatively new company having only started manufacture of their products...
Very interesting preview there Sin. Pictures great as always. Looking forward to more.
I have just tried a couple of compression fittings for you and although tight they fitted ok.

Hi and thanks for another clear review as usual. Unless I missed it though there was no price given even a recommended one. Apart from that, great!
An interesting review thanks. I can't understand however why the Load fan rate is less than the Idle fan rate when the temperature is higher. I thought maybe the pump was working harder to compensate...
I would have to agree with you there about the bearing but I must admit to being surprised by the small amount of noise it produced compared to the amount of air it moved for a "standard" fan....
I suppose that it depends largely on what type of case you have it installed in. Most are plastic facias so it will fit with them perfectly. It certainly is a nice unit though.

Well thanks for the kind words and I am only too pleased to post these review items.
The fan is very quiet actually and even I was quite surprised when testing it. You probably wouldn't need to...

Interesting look at the different aspects there. Thanks. Nice to see the lower end gear being tested.
Another good NAS review there testman. Always very easy to follow.
I have heard unnofficially that it does but am unable to check to see as I don't have access to one of those cards.
I just wanted to add here that I have been given more information by the manufacturer regarding the fans.
