I have never heard of doing such a mod for a GF4 card.
Now vmodding my GF4 was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had.

Good to see fellow umich students having some fun, I'm still using the mobo/cpu's that Vapor sold me :).
As were michigan's dorms, used to have the window open in the winter.
Nice thread though, been thinking of getting a e6300/6400.
Bust out your multimeter and find out. I don't really trust sensors on the motherboard. Any windows programs will just read the voltage from the BIOS so you can just boot to the BIOS to see what it...
If you want to torrent safely rent a server form a company located in a 'safe' country. Share all you want and transfer files over an encrypted network back to your home computer.
Sucks that...
Great thread, glad we have posters like Tony willing to share their knowledge, and in a way for us simple minded folk :).

JK!! Most Eexcellent work! :toast: Glad to see Coolaler has some competition.
I've been a bit busy lately but curious as to actual temperatures people are getting with their Conroes. I've heard temperature monitoring on the Bad Axe is...well...lacking, but if people have an...
Said it before and I'll say it again, very nice mods. Could you by chance though get a closer picture of the soldered area for the vgpu mod?
If you can't live without your computer I'm sure you can spend the $5-10 for a pci video card to keep you working until your current card is RMA'd to the manufacturer. PCI video cards are dirt cheap...
Love these reviews with all the pictures on the forums. Great stuff Andre.
All I was getting at is to not jump to such, sometimes considered, hostile conclusions. And no I'm not a moderator, I'm just a lowly user, but it's us users that make or break this site.
That is a very clean and professional looking card there. Very nice mods you've done.:toast:
These are the kind of comments we don't need on the forums when representitives from websites come here.
Oh my...I think I just...yea, I did. I just pooped myself.
Crazy stuff.
5k Ohm = 5000 Ohm
Of all the Conroe posts I have yet to see actual temps from their systems. I think the problem is onboard temperature monitoring with the Bad Axe sucks.
Can you explain that comment more thoroughly?
I've never used either of those before to make anything, can you get that stuff at like home depot?
I want to make a new box for my projector and was wondering if anyone knew of a good material. Right now the projector is just made of wood. An ideal material would be:
-Fairly Light

One of the best socket 754 boards you have there, very overclockable. You will be more limited by your cpu's ability to clock than the board more than likely.
I love my Sennheiser PXC150's. Noise cancelling, when I put them on and turn on some music I can hear next to nothing around me. I loved it when my roomate was around.
Grab an old socket A chip and use the foam pads from them on the IHS-removed cpu. That's what I used to do because I used a TT BT and was worried about sitting level.
I love overclocking older stuff, no worries if it breaks :). Good luck to ya!
Interesting to see you trying something new, figured you would have to with that autocascade. Nice work :toast: .
