I went through some gaming performance benchs from xbit and canucks and the ati one is generally faster indeed. Leaning towards 6950 (hopefully unlockable)... I may order it tomorow :)

No nvidia oposition in this price range ? Last time I cheked there was a big gap betwen their so-so cards vs the good ones (couldnt afford).......

I almost always use vsync along with triple buffering, to avoind tearing, and imo it makes it smoother to my eyes.

I never tested extensively but it does not seems to hurt min FPS, the most...

Im not sure if the ZM-F3 is still top 5 but its very good for sure, among the best and very cheap.

Last time I checked the ZM-F3 was in the top 5 of noise/performance ratio. Not sure what fan this cooler uses tho...

The cheapest I'd go is the Antec 380W. Budget corsairs are even better.

VRM temps its whats bottlenecking my 1Gb 4850 card overclock... So its not an pointless product at all...at least for OC'ers.

I Rather grab an cheapo Q6600 that will clock to 3.6Ghz without FSB problems.
