That sucks...my condolences.
Yeah good job to all that participated. For me, it was a bitter sweet return to benching the socket 939 platform but that's the way it goes sometimes. I'll keep the setup and try it again at...
Just saw this thread, good to hear it all went well. :)
Looks like a Mustang to me, with 2 decent size turbos...
Nice clean setup Dan.
Thanks guys!
That CBB is nice and low. One of my good e8600's has a sweet spot at around -140 but has a CBB of like -60 lol. Its a pain to warm it up just to get it going again and then pull the temp back down....
I ran 3DMark03 as well but nothing worth submitting. What temps were you using for the E6600 runs?
Nice benching Dan! Good to see you back at it.:)
Yeah I'd like to bench that setup too but im behind on the 939 stuff so it might not happen.
Congrats on winning the board!
We need all the help that we can get with the comp, so the more you can submit the better. Good luck!:)
+1

Happy Birthday dude!
Welcome to the team Oliver!

For sure there are meters out there that can't go lower than say -50c no matter on the probe. My very first meter was like that. The software/chip inside was limited. So when buying unknown meters...
Just checked with fluke and they do update 4x a second.
I know they are pricey but if your not in a rush then just wait for a good deal on ebay for a used one. The cheapest I've seen them go for...
What meter are you using now?
I use a Fluke 52-2 and find it very quick to refresh but not sure how many times in a second it refreshes. For sure at least 2x but probably more. Before the fluke I...
Have a look my friend, http://www.kingpincooling.com/1366-1156-2011-kit-evo/
Beep is right. The Dragon Evo 2.4 is dated but its still great for dry ice and is pretty fast with ln2.
If he still has the original hold down kit then it is limited to socket 775/AM3 but you can...
Nice cpu and results slamms/smoke!
Can you share the batch# of that golden chip?
