yes. been remounted 4 times with same results.
did have troubles with the block when I first got it though. it had absolutely no water flow through it when I first got the block. I tore it apart...
I guess I better get hold of swiftech. I am seeing the opposite results.
using a swiftech MCP-655 pump, I am seeing the XT having 5-10C higher temps on a 4.5Ghz i5-2500K than my old swiftech GTZ...
actually, this is far from my final overclock. I am far from stable.
and I never use stock Heatsinks for 24/7 use ;) Final cooling will most likely be water cooling.
I also have to take into...
well, I am impressed with the UD5P!
320 FSB using the stock HSF is the best I ever did with an AMD chip
just ran wprime for some quick stability tests.
...
thanks!
But I fell asleep during the dry ice run and killed the Mobo
did pick up another one and the cpu is still working like a champ!
now i have 2 955be cpu's laying around!
doing some dry ice runs with my ud5p and a 955BE:

you will, along with it sitting under My cpu pot :)
ok, you guys got me into AMD again :yepp:
just ordered the UD5p and a 955BE
ok, this 100% stable for me:
core I7 920 D0 cpu stepping: 3849A846
Asus P6T deluxe (V1) with bios 1504
12GB of Patriot Viper (6x2g)
water cooled with Dtek Fuzion 2 WB
single GTX 285 with DD...
find out if you have a C0 or D0 cpu by running Cpu-z
if you have a C0, vcore is a little low for these cpu's
D0 is opposite..
uggh, I now feel Ancient at Age 50. :(
and the first computer I used was a data General Nova II minicomputer with 16K of core memory
thanks for the Info.
Now I am starting to understand what it is.
ok, I was playing around some more.
On Asus P6T deluxe (V1) and Bios 1504. When the cpu hit 80C, both Calculated and MSR multiplier would drop back down to 20x. when dropped back under 80C, it...
ok, I will post mine. not as bad
full load using Boinc Manager and 2 different projects running

I am still playing with my D0. mine is watercooled
12GB of ram is a pain to get settled down

I have found keeping QPI frequency under 3800 Mhz helps the overclock a lot.
This is my i7-920 presently on a P6T deluxe. presently running 2 260 Gtx 192 core Cards in SLI.
Cpu is water cooled with swiftech GTZ WB

I am having the same problem with My M3a32-MVP and a phenom 9500.
80% of the time it will not post. and the only way it will overclock is by AI NOS settings only.
so, I am updating the bios on...
ok, I just got a G0 Q6600 stepping I cannot find any info on (L729B243).
guess she is going under dry ice this weekend :yepp: :D
ok Stevil,
I think you just beat me in crazy things to do
I have over 8 pairs of ddr2 here.
all of them still work at the mfr's rated specs and even higher on most. some of the modules have been up to 2.6V and are still kicking fine.
one flaw in...
I don't think it is the ripple voltage causing the deaths. You have a Vdimm regulator that Isolates the Vdimm voltage from the power supply voltage and it has it's own filtering system.
But the...
this is a program I found that does a lot of conversions. it is an old prgram but I find usefull:

this is my proudest memory bandwidth score:
the was with Ocz PC3200 Rev 2 (samsung TCCD) DDR Ram :yepp:
I will post up some scores with My AM2 4800+ whenever I put the system back together..
