Thanks BoxGods,
I contacted Aqua Tuning and they say they're placing an order at the moment, so I've asked for a couple of packs of black chrome :)
Looking forward to a pain free install, lol

These look great, my fingers were killing me after fitting my loop last time. I could do with a couple of packs.

Thanks for the explanation gabe.
How big are the differences between the original 6970 pcb and the new ones?
I really hoped for some decent sinks for the vrms on my card... :-(
no love for the 6970 ?
any more news on these?
worked perfectly :)
i was noticing slight pauses or stutters (usually when deleting emails) with 0006. after updating to 0007 everything seems smooth so far.
awesome news, thanks gabe :)
been waiting for something like this for my 6970
out of interest, would it be possible to hand-mod a swiftech 6970 heatsink to fit a reference pcb?
how much...
there is no status bar any more, only the add on bar now
if i hover my mouse over a link the url isn't displayed there either.
it just pops up at the bottom of the page for me, often blending into...

Anyone know of a way to increase the voltage limit in Afterburner?
On my 6970 its limited to 1.30v but ideally I'd like a little more without having to reflash the BIOS each time I want to change.
according to BAGZZlash
using asus smartdoctor 5.74 here and the "Overclocking range enhancement" option definitely works for me. it even extends the range in CCC

i'm thinking maybe power limiter since it's on the 6950
math is wrong
90.49 = 120%
90.49 / 120 = 0.75408333333....
0.75408333... x 100 = $75.41
why have such a large sticker then?
i say screw the stickers and get the blocks out already :p:
try this one ;)

@ ZoLKoRn
what were your default 6970 card results?
roughly the same as the 6950 flashed to 6970 ?
i'd like to see if the shaders really are unlocked. can it be read from registers or something?...

i'm about ready to upgrade from my old 4870X2.
i'll probably wait until wednesday for the full picture, but i'd just like to buy a single core card that can push decent framerates at 2560x1600 with...
those drivers don't support the 69 series cards in the .inf
