ASRock oc/formula is a better board than that gigabyte ....

Asus Maximus V Gene or Asus Maximus V Formula

Than it must be that I got a bad board ... because the same cpu and ram boot and are superpi32m stable on MVG at higher frequencies and lower voltages than what I could do on OC Formula and with 1T...

maybe on cpu side, but not for ram overclocking

just sold the board today ... and got my Maximus V Gene back in the case, better and easier board to work with

I'm having problems running my Samsung Dominator 2666 C10 on this board at 2800+ mhz. On Maximus V Gene I can boot and run SPI 32M at 2800 10-12-12-25 1T and even boot 2933mhz no problem.

There is no ram frequency/latencies cpu-z screen ...

So they (2400cl9 Platinums) won't do 2666C10 with 1.65? :( ... waiting for u'r test of them on i5-3570K

Can u test how the 2400 CL9 kit does vs 2666 CL10? Sadly the 2666kit is not available on newegg anymore and I don't know if I should buy the 2400 CL9 or choose something else? What other good kit do...
