That looks like the old Storm series blocks. They were awesome IIRC for monolithic cores (which today's GPU's are, but CPU's are not).

If you are using a single-die dual-core chip, the best block would still probably be the storm (no data, just gut feeling).
Dual-Die, Dual-Core chips would probably be better served by something...
Without looking at your pics, and not knowing your system specs, I'd think that you either have a bad mount, or a serious flow impediment somewhere.

After looking at them both, I rather like the A70 more. You can retain stock cooling fans in the front (2x120mm's for your GPU's=spiffy). With the PSU bottom mounted, you can clear a 120.3 rad on it....
Actually, it's a 120mm rad for the CPU, and then another for the GPU. It's just that the GPU's coolant lines are black, and thus rather hard to see.

Odds are you could MAKE it work. However, why would you want to? I'd spend the money on a better PSU first and foremost.

Avoid he P5K premium if you have any SATA II HD's. There are a LOT of issues on this board currently. If you search around, you'll find them.

I guess it WAS my drive that was the problem then, not the mobo like I originally thought. That would explain why my drive worked fine on different computers, but puked on the P5K prem....

I mailed my board for RMA after confirming on 2 other systems that my HD's were good. I was using the Asus SATA cables, so that wasn't the issue.
