What I find fascinating is the thought of future version of these chips.
Conservatively I bet you could cram 10 million neurons on a 7nm die (linear scaling would be around 16 million, but I'm...

Ok, then explain what the purpose of the SSDs are.
Well, Maxwell has been long rumored to have integrated arm cores. Seems like Maxwell is a lot more than that though -- it's an SOC! I bet you can run standalone using the extra power connection, or...
Welp, looks like I'm officially skipping this half generation.
L3 Cache and HT links.
There shouldn't need to be opinions. If Radeons don't do as much work as Geforces because a feature has been flat out disabled in the control panel, then that's a cheat. End of story. The fact that...
This card is crying for a big monster triple slot cooler.
I like them, but I like TR more.
"Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti / ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better"
Lol, the 5870 is what, close to twice as fast as the 550 Ti? Maybe it's a typo and they meant to write 5770.
Limit of one per customer, lol.
This is pretty low.
By exact opposite do you mean the leaks were true, or that the leaks underestimated how fast 290X is? How is the noise on the stock solution in comparison to Titan?
Damn... that looks pug fugly.
The Tahiti board is closer to the camera in that shot. I compared the size of the memory chips on both boards twice to be safe and Tahiti's were larger both times. Your comparison photo is flawed.
Seems like a lot of people are measuring it quite a bit larger than that, like this guy on the AT forums.
Faster than Titan, and more energy efficient. This leak looks legit.

Most likely, they're going 512-bit because:
-They have a big enough perimeter to do so
-They can fit that 512-bit bus in the same or less area as Tahiti's 384-bit bus, as per Dave B
-4GB of...
Care to elaborate?
Those aren't GPGPU benchmarks, and yes AMD needs to improve their Firepro drivers.
It is?
GK110 seems to go back and forth between Tahiti in GPGPU benchmarks, and that's at a significant die size advantage. GCN seems like it's at least as good at general purpose tasks...
512 bit?
I think Sky is one of the more neutral reviewers, but if he has a fault it's that he portrays himself as an authority figure even when he knows very little. He likes to drop little 'hints' because...
Impressive specs, but I have a feeling the power claims are exaggeration at best and a downright lie at worst. Maybe it's just exceptionally good binning though?
Or they could pull an Nvidia and have a few CUs disabled, enable them later on when yields improve and launch a refresh.
Well, thanks to that Power Color rep there's actually some evidence...
Actually, thinking about it again I can see how 20nm kind of makes sense.
Originally the product line was supposed to be "stable through 2013" and somehow changed to a major refresh in the second...
Interesting. If this is true it's quite the feat.
