RealTemp reads a register for that VID, it's not a sensor value.
For (almost) accurate software voltage readings I'd trust CPU-Z/whatever program who read a sensor not a register set by Intel. :)

Retrolock LOG means that that core hit TJMax value and your CPU is throttling.
Check your cooler ASAP.

Indeed CPU temp in BIOS are usually off but to my complete surprise Extreme4 is the first Intel MB that shows me CPU temp the same as hottest core shown by ThrottleStop/RealTemp. Always. :shocked:...

Cougar series should be HEC's high-end retail units. Decent PSU's to very good (GX series). A little bit pricey though (at least here).

As you see I'm fanless, so I use CPU2 3 pin fan header for a case fan non-PWM just to be sure that my MB doesn't warn me about no CPU fan attached at every boot. :)

I have a feeling that some chassis fans are tied together to one speed so changing one speed will affect two (ore more) chassis fans.
I cannot try that because I don't need more fans in my case. :)

Hmm, I really want to see this for my Extreme4 so i can use Throttlestop to it's fully potential...

Using my Gainward GTX460 GS GLH and tested a PoV GTX560. Both works like a charm here.

I have a couple betas send by their support because my mouse was frozen in UEFI interface. Now I'm happy so I though to share it maybe it helps another user with a CM Storm mouse. :)

I have 1.60E for Extreme4 if anyone is interested.

That BIOS finally allows my CM Inferno mouse to move in UEFI interface. :up:
