This is a build for a friend. He doesnt game, he needs a fast system and must have 4GB of ram. I was thinking of the Amd 5000+ to do a bit overclocking. Here is my part list, all prices in Canadian...

Yes I did. The ram seems to clock up to 1066 @ 2.1v when cpu runs at 333mhz. I want to try to get it it at 400mhz.

I did my best, all kinds of different playing around. Cas 5-5-5-5-20 or -15, the ram is at cas 5-5-5-x original, and tried 2t. Different voltages, this ram should do 1066 mhz at 2.2volts.

I got my XFX to boot at 400x9 with Q6600. Only problem it will only boot at this, or even be stable at this, only with one ram stick. I tried planning with voltages but still wont be stable with two...

Now that I own a PS3, I want HD DVD to fail.

I sent in my Asus P5B to rma, I had the latest bios on this board too before it got shipped. The board was crashing alot, and usbs stopped working. Now received a new board, same revision, same bios...

Cant wait for this to reach $100 for 32GB or even $200-300.
