Make sure you don't miss The Session #2 on Sunday 12 Noon CT (that's 8PM if you happen to be in the GMT+2 time zone)!
in multiple locations around the World. each team will have a live X6 OC stream or two from their test bunker.
Thanks :)
its a sheet of indium
05 scores would improve slightly with GBT mobo (especially GT1), need to try that during the weekend as well.
finally got my home OC rig to run at the proper speeds. for the longest time I had issues getting even 6G 3D stable. turns out that the issue was the suboptimal thermal contact with LN2 pot. recently...
so far nicely in single card top 10 of:
3dm05
3dm06
3dm03
with aircooled GFX and about 6.2...6.35G CPU
SF3D will take it from here with multi-card and higher scores. Good luck! I'll need...
first 05 run was at 6.3G, score was top10 single card (aircooled GFX)
easy start with safe voltage levels:

coming up next from the SF3D OC dungeon:
- LN2 tests with C3 965BE
- 5970 with more exotic cooling

There are predefined app profiles for certain CPU models. These are listed in the highlighted section. Since the profiles are CPU model specific they wont show up on all systems. 955 and 965BE (C2...

Oh yes, and we managed to pass the CPU tests at this speed (all cores):

(click for full screenie - low score / bad run though)
3DMark06 score at...
we used a total of 300L (there was 100L left in the dewar when we returned it, this info comes from the gas company who measures the weight of the returned dewars).
massman's estimate on € / L is...
switched to 3DMark06, first run and 38k is history! elmor and Sampsa pushing it. only 30mins left now!

(of course, may not be 100% accurate, but at idle it just drops to "-OL". during load it starts from -250 and towards -236C max)
we got the LHe setup really tuned now - elmor and Sampsa pushing the 955 ES + GBT 790FX combo with F1EE pot. 50k 3DMark05 done! going for more
HT at 1.6G is plenty for a single card and 3DM05 GT3. Could be something else though in the OS / Driver settings.
Run the Multi-texturing fillrate test to see where your engine clock really is.
its a PCI POST card.
yup, Canyon seems to be pretty good, almost 4FPS better than on the 35273 run even though its with lower GFX clocks. the rest of the tests were about the same.
btw, none of the components I used...
Hehe, but honestly: the temp probe is not needed with these parts. Easy to tell when the Dragon pot is "in the zone". Everything runs perfectly until you run out of LN2.
see, no temp meter...
Temp probe was not properly attached :D
the other system / Pot (Dragon Evo) had a properly installed probe - but I managed to rip it off at some point during our roadshow. so it wasnt there...
CPU VID value is at 1.4625V but actual voltage was about 1.700V under load (measured from CPU backside SMD-caps). Idle 1.75ish. ASUS board sets a voltage offset on top of VID when you set CPU Voltage...
SoF, massman,
I see - thanks for the clarification.
Hazzan,
did you set SPi process affinity to run only on the fast cores when you ran at 5.7GHz? looking thru the screenshots it seems that in...
Very nice results indeed!
SoF,
Your board needs a BIOS update - the version you have there doesn't include the proper name string for Phenom II CPUID (thats why CPUZ displays it as an "unknown...
