Yeah you're right, of course the CPU makes a difference in gaming, but I can't really see a difference between IB and SB.

It's all about which resolution used when benchmarking. Many sites uses way too low settings when testing CPU's.
2700K vs 3770K with discrete graphics is pretty much a draw in most games at 1920 x...
Is this Server only? No FX CPUs in the pdf?
This doesn't make much difference to consumers, right?
- Improves the Windows Client Remote File System components.
- Improves the SMB Service and TCP protocol components.
- Improves the...
I was thinking of water cooling, but then there's no capacity for GPU water cooling. Oh well.
Sorry, I meant next to the CPU, where the 80/92 mm fan goes.
An extender could work, but then again you might as well make a case with two slots and move everything down one slot making more space...
Well it it had room for a PSU above the CPU, it would be no problem.
Well if I didn't consider having a graphics card, then the quest for a good case wouldn't be that hard, right? ;)
I'm going to use a graphics card, and by the looks of the pics I'd need a card...
Here's a better pic of the Z87E-ITX.
I see six SATA ports, nice.

With modular cables you're able to shorten the cables without voiding the warranty, and that's why I want it. I thought it was obvious.
But if it doesn't fit then there's no point I guess.
Yeah well I want a 30" display that fits in the palm of my hand. Go figure.
:p:
No, I'd like to use a 165 mm modular PSU, which is common these days. Good luck finding a 140 mm fully modular PSU, Gold or Platinum, that's also quiet.. (Silverstone Strider ST55F-G may be the only...
Yup, it's nice. The only bad thing is that it only supports short PSU's. The quest for the perfect Mini-ITX case continues..
Huge cases like Prodigy doesn't count IMO, there are even ATX cases...
Oh I forgot, it's ASRocks own case, too big if you're asking me, not interested. What's the point with using a riser if it doesn't make the case thinner?

LOL I was hoping to post some more news from CeBIT, but I guess the board makers are focusing on larger form factors as usual.
My Z77E-ITX is great, so I'll keep an eye open for the Z87E-ITX...
Asrock Z87E-ITX seems to have one big difference in the layout compared to Z77E-ITX: The socket have moved away from the PCIe slot.

Finally a decent, small case. The requirement for a short PSU is a bit disappointing tho.
Decent, yes.
Silent, no.
You got the wrong number there.
100 / 73 = 37 %
Now isn't the time to upgrade if you're running a 980X, you're 4 months away from Haswell.
Maybe graphics cards, but then again you might as well wait for the upcoming cards, which will show up...
The drop in maximum air overclock for IB compared to SP is what makes it more plausible that we'll see better results for HW.
Well unless the trigates are found out to be untameable and Intel...
Purely speculating, can we expect a higher overclock on average compared to IB, maybe with soldered lids again?

This isn't Ubuntu for Android, it's Ubuntu phone.
I think IB-E needs a separate thread.
Just like SB and IB, nothing new.
You answered your own question. That 6C LGA1150 would make LGA2011 look less appealing, why would Intel do that? The same goes with VT-d and overclocking...
